On July, ARC team focused their activity on the publication of their research results and policy recommendation drafting that has been done since November last year. A manuscript of research results titled ‘Palm Oil Smallholders in the Middle of Extractivism’ has published, covering the eight research regarding palm oil across province in Indonesia. Moreover, a manuscript of policy recommendation titled ‘Strong, Rooted, and Independent Palm Oil: Transforming the Smallholder’s Palm Oil Business’ also published. The recommendation manuscript discusses the cluster of problems related to the down streaming of the national palm oil industry that is based on strengthening local farmers as the producers of CPO (crude palm oil).
